The City of San Antonio's Solid Waste Management Department provides curbside recycling collection every week.
| Accepted Materials |
The materials listed below can be recycled simply by placing them in the recycling container (blue cart). Items placed in the blue cart should not be bagged. Recyclables containing liquids or food residue should be emptied, rinsed, and dried before placing them in the recycling cart to avoid contaminating other recyclables.

The following materials should not be placed in the recycling container (blue cart). Remember that you can recycle unwanted items in fair condition by donating them to Goodwill, Salvation Army, your local church, or any other local charity before throwing items away.
