Career

In April 2010, Peter was appointed Assistant City Manager overseeing the Department of Community Initiatives, the Office of Management and Budget, the Solid Waste Management Services Department, and Capital Improvement Management System Department. He is also overseeing the 2012-2017 Bond Program. Prior to his appointment Peter served as an Interim Assistant City Manager from October 2009 to April 2010 in the City Manager’s Office. Peter also served as the Budget Director from October 2004 to October 2009 where he spent 12 years in the Budget office serving in various leadership roles. Prior to joining the City of San Antonio, he worked for Leon County, Florida, as a Management and Budget Analyst and as a Government Data Analyst for the Office of the Governor in Florida.

Personal

Mr. Zanoni is married to LaJuana and has three sons, Tanner, Anello and Nicoli. He is a native of Mexico, Maine.
