San Antonio Municipal Government

San Antonio has a Council-Manager form of government as described in the City Charter. City Council members are elected from 10 districts (map) and the Mayor is elected at-large. Mayor and City Council appoint the City Manager. The City Code is available for queries. View the City's Organizational Chart.
