The City Employee Health + Wellness Center is a dedicated clinic for use by City of San Antonio employees only and is operated by Gonzaba Medical Group. The center features a Wellness Library and offers any medical service that can be accessed at a primary care provider.

Reasons to Visit the Health + Wellness Center
The City sends you. The City utilizes the center for procedures such as pre-employment, promotional, and fitness for duty physical examinations, as well as random drug and alcohol screenings.
Workers' Compensation. This location is an option for employees seeking treatment for Workers' Compensation injuries.
You need personal medical care. City employees can visit the Health + Wellness Center for personal medical visits ranging from allergies, diabetes, colds, minor injuries, or preventive care.
Preventive screenings and routine physicals are eligible activities for the Employee Wellness Program!
Other Services:
Electronic Health Record – all your medical records are stored electronically and are available for your viewing
Dealing with Diabetes Support Group – meets the 3rd Tuesday of each month at the Health + Wellness Center
Well Woman Events – Held three times per year, these events offer educational information to women, in addition to annual physical exams (covered at 100% on City’s health plans).
Privacy
The City of San Antonio has contracted with Gonzaba Medical Group, a third party, to operate the Center and will not have access to any personal or medical information. In addition, there are federal regulations that require all healthcare professionals to keep patient information private.
