Once approved by the San Antonio Municipal Court Judge, Deferred Disposition (sometimes referred to as Probation) allows for Dismissal of a Citation if certain requirements are met.
Upon successful completion of the Terms of Probation, your case will be dismissed by the San Antonio Municipal Court Judge. The violation will not be reported to the Department of Public Safety.
Each ticket can consist of a total of three violations and each may require payment of a Deferred Disposition Fee.
Failure to meet the Conditions Ordered by the Judge will violate your Terms of Probation. Your traffic ticket will be reported to the Department of Public Safety and will result in a conviction.
Once the court has received your request, we will respond to you within 24-48 business hours. Requests made on a Friday, or prior to a Holiday, will get a response on the next business day.
This response will include the exact fine amount required (based on the formula on the back of your citation) and the due date.
Once the court receives your check or money order via postage, the court will send your probation terms via Email.
