Parking Jurisdiction

Senate Bill 919, enacted on September 1, 1997, and City Ordinance #65690 enacted on September 10, 1987, decriminalized the adjudication of parking violations. These laws changed the filing and adjudication of parking violations to an administrative hearing rather than a criminal process. If the defendant is found liable, a fine will be assessed. Fines must not exceed $200.00 on any case.
